Lazy Man's Algorithm
Saves the data to in-memory storage first and then asynchronously writes it to disk. Main thread is not blocked and waiting for the disk operation anymore.

If you dont use value returned from commit and you're using commit from main thread, use apply instead of commit. It then informs you about the success of the operation. It does not inform you about the success of the operation.
